We often talk about willpower as if it's an unlimited resource we can tap into whenever we need it. But here's the truth: your environment will always win against your willpower.
This isn't about weakness - it's about being human.
It’s been argued that the people you habitually associate with can determine up to 95% of your success or failure in life. Through our brain's mirror neurons, we subconsciously mimic the behaviors and attitudes of those around us. When you surround yourself with driven, positive people who want to see you win, you naturally adopt their mindset and habits.
The goal isn't to judge your current circle but to intentionally create an environment that supports your growth.
Choose to spend time with people who challenge you without diminishing you, who celebrate your wins without jealousy, and who make it easier to do hard things.

Great post!
I also think that this is not black or white. The perfect environment is not so much something you find, but rather something you cultivate over time. I like and embrace the idea of exploring and meeting new people that share your values, but I also see how the circle around me is being shaped, partly because of my influence. So in my opinion this needs a bit of both! 😊
